Best ways to deal with social anxiety besides therapy?

Forced exposure is the best thing tbh. I started going to the gym and having to learn to just deal with the fact that yes I look dumb and awkward and clearly don’t know what I’m doing, but it’s nobody else’s business anyway and doesn’t actually hurt me if they’re judging me, that really helped.

1 said it well. Also understanding to your core that everyone is going through their own thing, and that no one really cares about what stranger do. You might catch their attention for a sec but they quickly revert back their usual bs

You have to make yourself do it. Try to start with the easy stuff - maybe ask your boyfriend to do a thing where you third wheel with him and one of his friends. Then work your way up to the whole group. Its tough, but over time you'll see there was nothing to be afraid of
