Interestingly, and sadly, studies have shown they’re not really pedos. There isn’t a large population of pedos as people think, but that suggests that it’s more so about power and dominance. They do it because they can, or it makes them feel more powerful. It’s actually sad what that says about psychology

I mean, every single mainstream religion has a long and weird history of pedophilia. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, etc… It’s completely cross-cultural, and most frequently arises with people in positions of power. No one knows why, but it is a big area of study in both anthropology and sociology.
