PSA for my fellow men: Doing dumb shit is fun, but don’t ever do anything *too* dumb. The leading cause of death for men 20-44 is “unintentional injuries” (aka going dumb shit) at 38% of deaths for that age range

Honestly, as a male who does dump shit frequently often, I’ve just gotten really lucky. That said, my dumb shit is more “trapped in the Appalachian wilderness at elevation during a thunderstorm” not, “wheelie on a motorcycle” dumb shit, both’ll kill you though.

Another huge reason is going to the doctor. If something is wrong GO TO THE DOCTOR! A lot of men die of things that could’ve been prevented.

YES there is a pervasive gendered and cultured avoidance of medical care because something doesn’t seem serious, or its so random that who gaf, or any reason but if money is not an issue for you or if you have a manageable deductible, PLEASE go to the doctor

This is completely off topic, but this is from my school page. Is this not a crazy thing for someone’s doctor to tell them? I genuinely want to know because like me personally if a doctor told me that I’d kinda be freaked out

It just seems kinda odd to me for medical advice from a doctor

That’s a weird example 😭😭😭 like there is some underlying science, it releases dopamine as a neurotransmitter, but that’s kind of weird for a doctor to just say esp if they didn’t suggest other activities. Also…not masturbating isn’t bad either idk what your doctor is on

Luckily it’s not my doctor, I just thought it was weird and I NEEDED to ask someone about it but I didn’t know how or where to ask 😭

For context this was on a post where they quoted a post about Spencer’s asking if the sex toy selection is good there 💀 idk WHAT their doctor has been telling them but it seems a bit odd ngl
