The issue with this is that I am not into men much less a larger man so I would find it unwelcome no matter what. But a lot of women prefer men that are bigger than them. In other words there is a right and wrong way for the woman but wrong regardless for me, so I’m not sure this way of thinking works.
It was advice on how to make sure you’re not creepy/intimidating unintentionally. They pointed out a lot of guys think of “well if a woman did this to me it’d be okay” but a lot of men don’t feel intimidated by women the same way a woman would be intimated by a man. So picturing a taller more muscular man by their logic would help decide.
I think the point is to ignore the fact of attraction and just focus on are the actions themselves intimidating. And plenty of women would find any man hitting on them unwelcome. The point is it actively coming off as threatening, intimidating, or creepy. A buff gay man looking you up and down as he walked by would be unwelcome but less intimidating than if he cat called you yknow?
