I mean depends? Im pretty remote as is, and its pretty common for engineers to take extended remote time to manage kids

my dad was a stay-at-home husband bc he had a remote software engineering job. so he took care of us kids (including chores, cooking, laundry, carpool, etc) while also working his job at the dining table lol
