except thats just not the case with humans. you're right, most animal species the males have to show off and the females are the ones who choose, and if yeah if they don't get chosen they don't mate. there r plenty of very shitty men out there who don't have anything to offer the world yet are still in relationships. due to a plethora of reasons. due to humans being complex beings. some men manipulate/groom/harassed the women into submission, they aren't just left without a mate.

Well I mean let’s be real 99% of the time relationships start because someone thought the other was attractive and reached out (ex. Walking up in person, DM, following on social media, etc.), now learning about the person is what changes list into real interest or even love But to initially be desired stems from looks on both sides truthfully
