Maybe he’s unaware that you’d like to do something with him. Ask him if he’d like to do something and I’m sure he’d plan then

If you feel that’s the necessary approach. If you’re fine just texting him and not hanging out you don’t need to but if you’re catching feelings and he’s not reciprocating effort then yeah I would stop texting
