As a Christian who also struggles with lust (heterosexual, but not married) it’s not about “fitting into a box”, it’s about getting up every time you fall, knowing that you are loved in a way you don’t fully understand, and relying on that love to keep going in the midst of despair.

I know what it’s like to stumble onto porn too early to realize what it does. I know what it’s like to throw out the toys afterwards. I know what it’s like to slowly watch myself get worse and worse, not knowing when it will end, or if it will end at all.
