I think that believing we deserve better is a bad mindset to have because then we will never be satisfied with what we have which can hurt our mental health

I don’t mean deserve better as in “I deserve a yacht and a butler and luxuries,” but rather “we deserve to live in a stable world run by people and systems that are accountable to us, the people.” We deserve to have free time with our loved ones and the system is designed to take that away on purpose in order to extract more value from us for the owner class. But yes, I also feel fortunate for what I do have. I don’t “deserve” a bigger tv, but I deserve a chance to meet my basic human needs

If we stop thinking about what we deserve, we stop working toward a better world. But it is a balance, you can’t let bitterness overtake you. Gratitude is very important, especially to keep in mind that there are others who are currently more exploited than us by this system. I let my gratitude fuel my desire to make this world more just for all of us

im glad you benefit from the system as is but for those of who don't everything is political.
