
Well I also see it as you owe your friends some sort of loyalty. We all make awful decisions (i’ve personally never cheated or anything like that, but i’ve made decisions I regret for sure.) my friends didn’t abandon me they just called me out on my dumb shit then I became a better person from then on. It’s definitely a personal decision you have to make, but when given the opportunity I have to believe that i’d want to better him instead of leave him.
I don’t associate with people just on moral grounds so the act of cheating alone is not going to make me immediately drop someone. It depends on the whole circumstance and all of its factors. If it makes me realize the guy is not someone I can trust, whether it be because he’s too stupid or too selfish or too fake, then I don’t want him around, but honestly that’s not really the story cheating usually tells me, at least at our ages. Or if he seems really inescapably corny and cringes me out.
