Eh four is kinda right. The "ideal woman" has changed over time but in ancient history chubby women were demmed the beauty standard and there is evidence in that in various sculptures and artifacts. It was a sign of wellnorishment and bigger women were linked to be more suitable for childbearing.

Alsl "the masses" can't accurately define attractiveness. For example most men in the caribbean would say that a thick black women is the ideal woman for them, but men in Japan probably would disagree with that. There r tons of factors that determine what the beauty standard is and there isn't really one universal beauty standard any more with the birth of the internet and being exposed to different forms of beauty.

Fat women will survive the winter during a famine whereas skinny women would starve. Evolutionary biology suggests that food resources is one of the most important thing for women. Also; you DID say fat women were unattractive. Let’s not pretend otherwise. Anyways, the point is that everyone has different preferences. Stop being an arse. trust me it is, i went to jamaica on a trip and i'm not even overweight i'm just curvy and i've literally never gotten so much male attention in my life. we aren't trying to attack you, we are just trying to let you know there isn't a definite beauty standard, and unattractiveness is subjective as is attractiveness. if you look up famous beautiful celebrities in specific countries they aren't all gonna look the same 😭

Traditional Chinese women have white makeup to really look pale. Also, it might be important to establish the difference between morbid obesity and fat, and curvy thick. Because I’m guessing none of us are on the same page. The definition of universally is “by everyone; in every case.” When you say “being fat is universally unattractive” you are saying that “everyone / 100% of the world views it as unattractive” If you simply changed the phrasing to “most people in America think being fat is unattractive” then I would agree with you.
