Sometimes guys bring girls flowers on the first date, but do girls ever bring guys anything? I’m going on a first date and I want to bring something small to pull out of my purse if he gives me flowers or pays for the meal

Honestly as a man, just give us random things that make you think of us, it’s the best feeling in the world

honestly I’ve given guys flowers before and they’ve always really appreciated it. and not just in romantic settings. like I was the first girl ever to give my boyfriend a flower, and he dried it out and saved it in his keepsake box. for context, my boyfriend hardly saves anything and is the type to live out of a suitcase. then, for my grandpa, he almost died last year from cardiac issues. I brought him a bouquet of roses when he was back home and doing better, and as an 78/79 year old man, he

Offer to pay for dessert (or secondary activity like for pool games or something)! It makes it feel less stressful and shows you want to have the date go on longer

Don’t bring him anything physical on a first date! That comes off way strong and hints at clingy down the road. U can cover dessert or an activity or sum like #9 said but it’s more important that he knows ur relaxed and having a good time. Goodluck have fun!

That sounds bomb! I once had a girl bring me a bouquet of crochet flowers. She said she didn’t want me to worry about taking care of them. Also, that she didn’t have a green thumb and that she wanted them to be pretty for me forever. XD

was touched. he said that was the first time anyone has ever gotten him flowers before, which is honestly true for a lot of guys. I think it’s sad that for a lot of guys, the first time they’ve ever gotten flowers might be at their funeral. my grandpa was so touched by the gesture that he kept bringing it up every time I came to visit after that. might buy him a random bouquet of flowers soon just because. Hope this helps🥰

This is so sweet! I’d love to on a second or future date, I feel like flowers to a man could be too romantic for a first date maybe

I agree with that but to an extent. on a first date probably. but I’ve also gotten flowers for guy friends who I knew were having a hard time. it depends person by person- some of them were happy about them and didn’t assume anything romantic, one of them became obsessed with me. but it just shows imo why we need to normalize acts of kindness to make people less socially inept overall in that way

Worst part is that, condoms is not even a bad suggestion 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 If you want to sleep with him, that’ll do it.
