I feel that men have a lower bar for experiencing physical attraction than women, but they are unwilling to compromise on this lower bound and will almost never date someone they aren’t attracted to. Women have a higher standard for physical attraction but are more flexible

i agree. i have asked on here a similar question before and men supposedly can't or have a harder time falling in love with someone if they aren't at least a little bit attracted to them physically whereas women can fall in love with a man based on their personality, intellect, emotional connection etc.

Men absolutely can and do fall in love based on personality and emotional connection, but men are less likely to pursue you and get to know you that way if there isn’t some physical attraction to draw them to you to begin with. Whereas for women instead of physical attraction it’s often more of energy, confidence, or humor than physical appearance that initially attracts them.
