What would be the reason your partner wouldn't be okay with it? I think it'd be fishy if he was against you going. I'm not a party person either but think my partner should go to the parties they want

Depends on who she’s going with friend-wise and what type of halloween party, but she’s a grown adult and I trust her judgment so it’s not a big deal. However, if he doesn’t want to go, maybe make a point to make it up to him? Just speculation
