How is no drugs, no hookups, no cheating, and no secrets difficult 💀 the last two should be universal in every relationship, and the first two if I speak my mind on, I’ll upset a lot of people so I’ll refrain, but you get the idea lol. The things they listed are literally bare minimum for a successful relationship, so I wouldn’t say unrealistic at all

Honestly the hardest one is secrets because there’s no way to really know unless they’re fully transparent about everything, but as long as it’s a secret that doesn’t involve the other 3 or something like a serious crime, it can probably be worked out

Yeah don’t settle for less and don’t let these people tell you that your expectation of literally the bare minimum of respect for a partner to have for you is “unrealistic”. It’s not your fault hookup culture became the norm online, but it is most definitely not the norm for relationships so don’t let what people say online make you feel hopeless

I didn’t say people who hookup cheat and do drugs, I said people who don’t hookup probably don’t do the other two either. But to answer your question, yes, I absolutely will stereotype people who participate in hookup culture as being more likely to cheat or do other reckless things like drugs as well. More so the cheating, drugs probably not so much but definitely still more likely that someone who doesn’t do hookups

Yeah idk why, but people who defend hookup culture get fired up whenever someone says it’s not healthy or that it’s perfectly fine for that to be a dealbreaker for someone else
