I think OP is just frustrated with how it’s asked and these posts tend to be a generalized insult that in reality reflect a small but loud percentage of men

Got it got it. But yeah when you haven’t interacted with a lot of men and still experience such bad treatment and that’s what the people around you with also limited experience are going through, it’s not a big leap to assume those are widespread issues. I think people tend to forget generalization is usually used when talking about systemic issues and not individuals

I think that using generalizations to target a system is ignorant and harmful. You can hope that your words will cut deeper, but the reality often is that those who are a target of a generalization cut off the message right there. It doesn’t benefit anyone making these generalizations.
