So a few things do you not communicate with your employer that you have a doctors appointment? and my doctors never been an hour late to my appointments. thats just unprofessional. im just saying if you're willing to take the risk and neglect your health when you're young then it's going be even more expensive as you age.
“Med school” in quotations like it’s not a real educational institution is insane. And your stance on healthcare is evidence enough, most physicians absolutely despise big pharma and anyone who would give medications just because they got a fancy dinner from a pharma rep is actually a fucking imbecile who doesn’t deserve their license
Dude you’re the only one being weird here, they clearly do know more than the average person cause the average person doesn’t go to med school. Why would you even bring up religion in the first place, that has nothing to do with this discussion. You’re a nut case and one of the reasons why people don’t respect people who follow Christianity
“take care of your mental health” “why?” is an incredibly dumb fucking thing to say. mental health is social AND personal. you’ve gotta stop waiting for the world to change to fix your own issues. mens mental health matters for an infinite number of reasons, so don’t play fucking dumb making nihilistic comments. i’m sick of this shit.
“taking care of OUR mental health” were the words OP used. not just yours. you dismissed the mental health of more than just yourself dude. and YOU are a part of men. YOU gotta help yourself to help others. this attitude doesn’t help anyone, you gotta realize you’re part of the collective that is men.
What you need to understand is that if you’re like me and you genuinely are cooked in all aspects of life, you either know and accept it or know and deny it. And the ones who know and deny it are really the ones who crash and burn hard. The ones who know and accept it like me know how to help other guys who are going through a rough time because we have that perspective as someone who was doomed from the start
I’m definitely the furthest thing from red pill you can find. I’m not a delusional zealot like you either. And some people really are cooked in all aspects of life, but that’s not something I’d expect you to understand. I’m sending boys down the right path by showing them perspective, that they could always be like me and they’re not.
So I read the exchanges between you and #6, and its not everyday you see another man do the whole condescending "i know more than you" BS with another man. i thought they only really did it with women. so im assuming if I actually answered your question on why we should take care of our mental health, you'd definitely wouldn't take my answer seriously considering you didn't even respect your fellow man.
but because i want to share my perspective anyway, I will. i was referring too both your specific mental health AND men's mental health as a whole. something that i believe is severely lacking in awareness. you can't be an advocate for men's mental health if you truly believe that male suicide is a simple truth of life for men. to me that's like saying you're a vegetarian but allow yourself eat bacon every morning. then you're simply not a vegetarian.
Being a narcissistic hypocrite will literally get you nowhere in life. Which is why you probably think you are "chopped in all aspects of life" maybe instead of approaching life in this highly cynical manner, and started to see that you're just like everyone else and the things you do will affect other people you'll start to see things in a different light
to anyone else who upvoted this comment please listen to #6. men's mental health being taken seriously needs to start within men. especially young college aged men when we all have the time to figure out who we are. its not cool or fun or edgy to be okay with dropping dead tomorrow. depression now is more common than ever and they are ways to overcome it that isn't just going to the gym. please reach out to locals resources if you're ever feeling low!!
