i kind of like my one coworker but he’s really socially awkward so we don’t talk much, but recently he asked me if i was staying in our town (we’re both leaving our jobs soon) and after i told him no he said we have to keep in touch, could this be a sign?

Maybe he doesn’t know how u feel and the idea of misreading the situation and making a coworker uncomfortable is keeping him from telling u

It’s a sign to stay in touch !

i just don’t get a read on him so i don’t want to make things awkward either

In that case, you should treat this as a sign

Judging by the fact u said both of u r leaving work soon, I’ll assume ur guys internship is going to end and yall will move back to ur schools. I would say not worth the risk if u care abt my opinion lol

If ur schools aren’t within driving distance of each other the odds yall ever work out to anything worthwhile r very low, and on top of that u run the small/medium risk they don’t feel the same way so its basically a lot of effort for a tiny prospect of reward
