Because why does it matter to your date? If they are asking, then it implies the answer matters to them when it shouldn’t matter or be any of their business.

The post was deleted, but it basically said: If there’s no shame to you in sleeping with multiple people, why would you get offended if your date asks about your body count.

Well that’s because it does matter to them and there is some shame in sleeping around a lot, if a person doesn’t want to be embarrassed or ashamed to the point where they’re defensive about their number and not wanting to tell someone then maybe they shouldn’t have gotten with that many people
