Hey bro, went through a similar phase. I highly recommend dermaSTAMPing once a week (start at .25mm and over time max it out at .75-1mm). Derma rolling is not good because it can create uneven spots. Minoxidil doesn’t treat those spots as well, but pairing it with dermastamp, it should be effective. If you are growing hair around that area, but just losing it fast, get on finasteride, BUT START WITH A SMALL DOSAGE. See if it causes any of the side effects before continuing with it.

Sorry it’s hitting ya so young. I think you can hold it a bit longer if you want but preserving it medically can have side effects/be expensive. Imo buzz it and let go when you feel comfortable

If you have anymore questions or want more details hmu. Tried my best to summarize and give you options. Just know that this is a routine thing you will have to do at least once a day.

This. Always approach holistic remedies first before going on medications imo. If you plan on using hair oil, a silk/satin bonnet is recommended so your pillowcase doesn’t get greasy (assuming you do it at night).

Typically I put hair oil on my scalp, do scalp massage, let it sit for 15 mins, then wash my hair. I’ve had so much growth from doing this once or twice a week, but I bed leaving it on overnight would be good too

Really? Which oil do you use? When I did my research I saw an overwhelming consensus on leaving it for at least an hour, but the scalp massage you mentioned may stimulate it faster. I’m happy for you bro.

I’m a girl 😅 but I’ve done a lot of research and I homemake my hair oil. It’s a mix of caster oil, rosemary oil, and a drop of peppermint and lavender essential oils. And I always feel like a dirty rat when I have hair oil in, makes me wanna shower asap lol

Oh mb mb. Okay that’s the same combo I also use without the lavender. ONG ts be making my scalp feel heavier. Black castor oil is so thick too. IM HAPPY FOR YOU REGARDLESS 🤠

What about a system?

$500 a year minimum for something decent plus the risk of wardrobe malfunction if you’re unlucky. If you’re really attached to keeping the hair you’re free to try everything, but finding your zen early with your body will make living with it easier in the long run.

If it makes ya feel better I’ve started losing some hair at my crown. I really love having it long, so I’m holding off a bit longer to hopefully make a worthwhile hair donation. After that though it’ll stay buzzed and I’ve made my peace with it. It’s not uncommon to have this stuff hit young, but we’re gonna be fine.
