What do I do when I have a woman who literally gives me the energy I want from a life long partner but I’m still recovering from a awful relationship and probably need to be alone for some time. Like wow she’s so wonderful but damn I’m so fucked up 😵‍💫

If you don't feel ready yet, don't lead her on. If you feel you're truly ready to let go of your past and not look back, not text your ex, etc, then move forward with this wonderful woman. But don't break her heart just because you weren't over your ex. Be honest with yourself first because she doesn't deserve to get hurt

First I’d say seek therapy. Second have an honest conversation with her. That’s the least she deserves.

This is just from my experience. This guy I went out w gave me the world and treated me like the love of his life and I treated him like a king. 3 months later he dumped me for his ex when she came back and he told me I was just a rebound to him and for me to move on. It took me 4 years to finally let him go. I went to 2 different therapists and also developed depression, but eventually somewhat healed. His ex also dumped him again and he tried to come back but I never took him back
