Evolutionary biology; thick women are seen in our brains to be more able to supply sustenance to a child. Ask yourself this question: if I was a male chimpanzee would I be more interested in the skinny/thin chimpanzee or the more voluptuous chimpanzee to carry my offspring?

I don’t remember the findings exactly, but there’s a link between finding thick women attractive and success. Through history it’s like subconsciously been skinny is attractive in harder times, full figure is attractive in prosperous times

It’s just a culture thing. It really depends on where you live anyway. Thats just how it is in the USA but if you went to South Korea it would be the opposite because they value women being skinny and not curvy.
