Is it an issue for you? Like are you asking this as in trying to get him to acknowledge an issue with the age gap, or are you asking because you legitimately want to know if the age gap does/would matter to him?

Maybe just simply ask him if your age gap matters to him then? When you phrase it in the negative as “isn’t an issue for him”, it kinda sounds like it’s an issue for you and you want him to take issue with it.
