Try to fit into conversation how you loved it when he brought flowers without telling him to do it. Like recalling a favorite date and slightly dramatizing how amazing it was to get flowers

I try to bake him things when I can and I help him with household chores sometimes if he needs. Idk maybe I also don't do enough
