Having a friend like that is a recipe for them catching feelings for you because it’s basically the highest level of trust and ability to be completely vulnerable to one another. Yeah, I honestly view it like this too. Either have a friend of the same sex you won’t become attracted to, or get therapist. This kind of bond between a man and a woman can only exist between familiarly between family. So I guess it’s not impossible, but be prepared to be the older or younger sister.
