i’ve been talking to a guy and i lowkey blowed him off this weekend because i’ve been busy& i don’t know what his interest is but now he’s been a little dry and only responds a few times a day i wanna ask him to come out with me tonight or should i wait

I mean I don’t know how to you worded it, but you might have ‘made’ it seem like you’re actually uninterested. Did you not try and find a better date for a date with him.

Though you probably should ask him anyway, just also be a little apologetic about blowing him off as more of a courtesy than admitting to something wrong to show a bit of sincerity.

Well then same thing, depending on how you worded it, he may viewed it as using work as an excuse to say no while the real reason is you just are uninterested in him in even a platonic thing instead of actually being too busy.

ok yeah i feel like he probably thinks i have no interest then but i wouldn’t be talking to him unless i did. worst that can happen is he blows me off which is deserved so it’s fine

I’d say just do it, swing the ball in his court this time, and even if he doesn’t respond then that’s on him when you’re trying to make up for being unavailable for when he asked you because life happens. After all the answer is always no if you don’t ask him anyway, so at least make it a 50 50.
