I assume you’re a woman? If so: my biggest advice would be: BE VERY FORWARD! Men are terrified of misreading things and thus you will need to make it as abundantly obvious as humanly possible!

Think if things that you enjoy doing and are good at, and find social groups of people with similar interests. Then you try to get people’s contact info and start chatting. If you have a preexisting group of friends you can introduce yourself to their friends. People seem to most often date others that are 2-3 connections away, like a friend of a friend or someone they meet in class.

More broadly, if you can master the art of making friends and platonic connections, you have almost all you need to find a bf. The one extra ingredient is not putting men you’re attracted to on a pedestal and taking initiative in reaching out to them

Do you have any recs on where to meet people? I go to a smaller college, but there’s a lot of other schools near by and it’s in the city so lots to do! idk if it’s also worth getting on dating apps!

I think the first place I would go is school clubs focused on an affinity group or hobby/sport. If you go to a smaller school there may not be too many. If you take classes with people in your major you can make friends by studying with them or sumn.

You can try dating apps, but you might be overwhelmed by the amount of people you have to sort through as a woman. Also it can be a little sad and disappointing when someone ghosts you. You have to be proactive about meeting in person I guess
