If your partner dies it will be extremely hard for you to get their assets or life insurance etc 2. also if your partner was in a serious medical condition where they could not speak for themselves you would have no control to speak for them or be able to add it input 3. The appeal is in your partner. It’s a feeling that’s hard to imagine until you’ve actually felt it, but once you’re with someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with, that you can’t imagine living without, marrying them sounds like something you want.
