i’m sorry but saying love you before asking you out is slightly weird. i get it it holds less value than i love you but still that’s something he shouldn’t be expressing yet. i think he’s just currently infatuated if he’s that touchy so i think you should give him more time and maybe have a conversation in the future about what both of your intentions are.. idk how soon tho idk how long you’ve been talking
