imo u are just the exception,not the rule. stereotypes exist for a reason. not hating on ur relationship tho but u also need to stop taking things personally bc ur situation is quite literally what we call the exception. just saying in general! u sound like one of those women that are like “well my man never did that or that..” no shade

Well I was using my relationship as an example because we met at a party and it felt relevant. Obviously it was upsetting other people which wasn’t my intention and I don’t want to make people feel bad

I was told that I was going to broken up with in 5 months by a person who doesn’t know me. Not a great experience and I’d rather just not deal with people like that so I feel it’s better to walk away

This is where most young women meet men, and since a disproportionately high amount of these men that do that stuff are the type of men OP is complaining about, I can make an educated guess. Believe it or not, most men aren’t like that, they just don’t interact with them

Yeah. Felt like I was intruding in a space I wasn’t wanted. All good though. I get why it would be assumed that I was a woman talking about my boyfriend
