It's totally normal to feel anxious or shy! It doesn't mean you're doing something wrong or that you're not capable of this. It just shows that you like the person, and you care what they think. You got this, and I hope he calls/texts you back, but if by chance, he doesn't, at least you know now and if you decide you wanna do it again, it'll feel less daunting

I'm so sorry, that sucks, but you're underestimating yourself. If you end up liking someone else and wanna initiate, what you did is evidence you can do it! You did this and made it through, you will again no matter what happens. You're brave for being the person to initiate!

I understand where you're coming from as I have a crush on someone right now actually and I have been scared to tell her, but you shouldn't be hard on yourself. The fact that you did it once definitely means you can do it again if you ever feel differently someday

Guy user here, who is also afraid of rejection. Im totally with you on not wanting to put yourself out there again, however I think you totally should (when you feel ready ofc). As someone who has lost many opportunities because I was afraid of rejection, take it as this: they just don’t see your value that way, but someone will, and it’s just a matter of time until then. Don’t let others ruin your light! Shine for yourself!

i can see that, i just dont want to know the opportunities because i dont want any to close, im already embarrassed asking a guy out as a girl so to get rejected sucks even more
