See I can understand alone time and it's something I've thought a lot about since I'll be going from living completely alone to with him and I'm sure that will be a bit of an adjustment but I still always planned to share a bed and I think he does too. So I'm just confused why if he's been without me all day why simply sleeping together would feel like a chore or like it wouldn't allow him to relax. Idk
I wouldn’t take it personally. Maybe he just knows that he’ll sleep better with no distractions. Like if you’re there he’ll want to stay up later and not end up getting enough sleep. Or he doesn’t have the energy to keep up conversation or make you feel like your needs are being attended to. I really wouldn’t take it so personally. It’s important to respect your partners boundaries and space
Obviously I respect his boundaries and wishes it just sometimes makes it feel like we aren't on the same page. When I have a long day I want to spend time with him because that makes me feel better. And idk how he expects to live together if he doesn't want to share a bed sometimes. I also mean exclusively sleep not even Hang out
