No one rule works for everyone, it depend on the situation. My GF makes about 20x more money than I do so she covers everything, if I were with a girl who made less money than me I’d step up for her

I mean me personally it’s gonna be 100/0 unless she wants to have a job and even then it’ll be all her money unless she wants to help pay bills while I’m in residency (religiously she has no obligation to contribute to the household)

im strict in the 100/100. if both people focus 100% of their effort and resources on the other, both people will always be happy

50/50 unless your sources of income are opposites

isn’t it always gonna change? maybe the bf or husband loses his job and the gf or wife has to pay most of the bills and stuff or vice versa. I don’t think it can ever be a set amount. Can it?

Overall input must be 50/50 for a healthy relationship, but I don't feel money is the only type of input.

it really depends on the circumstances of your specific relationship. if 60/40 works for you and your partner and you both feel that its fair then thats what works for you

We’re partners full stop. It’s about effort not money. If I put in my best work, I expect you to do the same

to add to this, your 100% might not be the same as your partner's and thats ok. the effort is what matters
