Yes, plenty of us. There’s some liberals too. But, respectfully, let’s not make this sub political. The only time it should get political is if someone has different ideas or beliefs than you and looks down on you or acts like you’re the enemy for thinking differently. Those ppl suck. I’m also doing a PhD so I am surrounded by the nonsense and I am getting so fucking sick of it.

Barely. This whole app is a bad place to be if you aren’t liberal

I imagine there are, but personally, I really dislike conservative politics and I am proudly left leaning. Conservative politics endorses bigotry of all kinds like classism, racism, sexism, and homophobia, and I'm against all of that

Hell yeah. Can’t wait to vote for Rubio/Vance in 2028 and deport all these illegals.

Conservative politics doesn’t endorse bigotry, we just have different solutions to it than you do. But Anakin-ass idiots like you have the mindset “If you’re not with me, you’re the ENEMY”

I think there are conservative people who definitely are against bigotry, but it's hard for me to see conservative politics as not endorsing bigotry when they wanna pass laws that hurt many of my friends. One good example I can give you is that there are a lot of efforts in Republican areas to prevent trans people from getting gender affirming care. For many of my friends who are trans and non-binary, not having access to that means they don't get to be themselves and I think that's wrong.

The fact that this is the insult you choose to disagree with me tells me everything I need to know about you. You can disagree with me if you wish, but I don't hold the views I do in hopes of this. I just don't think it's right what the Republican Party in the US has been doing to so many people

Oh mb I get it now too. Yeah honestly I just kinda hate the patriarchy! I often stand up for minorities constantly with my social media post and strongly believe in trans rights. #savedemocracy #ftheorangeman#6’2btw

You know, I’ll actually grant you one, conservative politics is somewhat transphobic. But I’d clarify the laws they want to pass are specifically about procedures *for minors*, once you’re an adult you can do whatever you want to yourself, and about protecting safe spaces where women are vulnerable such as women’s bathrooms, women’s shelters, women’s prisons, and women’s sports. No one is arguing trans people shouldn’t be allowed to shop at target, or own a credit card, or swim in a public pool.

Y’all ain’t any better dude. Stop being hateful and move on with your life, vote your way and try to change the election the next time in your favor but stop being rude to people just cause they disagree with you

I don't really see how me saying I dislike conservatism is being hateful, but I'm sorry. It's clear based on the reactions I got I didn't phrase my original comment very well and that's on me. But I don't really see how I'm being hateful when so many of my friends are being affected by conservative policies: the loss of scholarships and loans for colleges, access to healthcare, better salaries, etc. these have been under a lot of attack lately by Republicans in power so that's why I dislike it
