In my personal opinion I find it impressive when a guy is just willing to try. Even if the meal doesn’t turn out well I would still be impressed simply because they were willing to try something outside of their comfort zone for me.

Believe it or not, a lot of men can’t do the basics. A lot of this gen of women watched our fathers or grandfathers not know how to cook or refuse to clean. It is the bare minimum but a lot of the time we don’t even get that.
