As a girl that's never been with someone who has been cheated on before, how do I reassure my boyfriend that he is okay while also not limiting my genuine friendships with my male friends?

Understand boundaries in hetero friendships and communicate with your bf beyond he’s just a friend. Give him a reason to believe you by showing it and reassuring him.

Right that makes sense and I feel like I've been doing that. I've stopped talking to the one friend he was worried about and stopped talking about him and he says that helps but he also feels bad for it bc this friend I've been friends with for the last 8 years. Is there a way to make my bf comfortable without distancing from my male friend?

It’s one of those things where you have to meet in the middle. If you’re doing your part to reassure him and you’re doing a good job maintaining boundaries and staying platonic then he has to do his part and learn to let go of the past because he can’t force his trauma onto you. It’s something he’ll have to over come eventually

I see I see. I'll tallk with him about it and see if there's a compromise we can settle on that makes us both happy. Thank you sm.
