How do you let a guy know you’re interested? I like a guy from work but I am not sure he likes me or knows that I like him. For example if we are sitting next to each other and our legs are touching he moves his away

It’s hard, some guys are oblivious. A coworker asked if I was single and what I looked for in a girlfriend and I just thought she was making conversation. Friend/coworker who was there had to lmk she was flirting with me

I mean, when women like #1 respond to these questions in Ask Women like this, can you blame men for disregarding on not picking up on women’s “subtle flirting” or attempts to signal interest? https://app.yikyak.com/s/a9ZCTx3AG5

Thanks for your insight. I’m thinking he moved his leg away because he doesn’t like me tho? And he never asked for my number but is friendly all the time. I’m not sure how obliviousness could be an explanation in this case

I think it depends. He could’ve moved it bc he was nervous or thought you didn’t notice and didn’t want to be creepy? The number thing could also be because he’s nervous. Some guys aren’t the type to actually make a move on someone who isn’t a sure thing, especially if it’s a coworker. He might not be into you but if he’s friendly enough I’d try asking some questions and flirting a little and see how he reacts

I will always move my leg away if it’s touching another person that I’m not dating or am not related to

True he brags about being the rizzler so I thought he would get it. But to me if someone doesn’t ask for my number then they probably don’t like me

That’s true too, I don’t like when people touch me so I usually give myself some space

I get that and you seem like a more direct person. Just saying he might not be and I wouldn’t assume that means he’s not interested, just is a little nervous. Up to you, if you want to see if he’s interested though

I need someone to make it clear if they are interested or not trust me I am just as shy nervous and naive 😅

Just because a guy doesn’t initially ask for your number doesn’t mean he wouldn’t consider dating you, connection always has to be initiated by some party, and it sometimes requires being more direct than we’d like

Hey if you’re a rizzler prove it 🤣. I’m kidding but thank you I’ll think about it. I don’t want to ask him out cause if he says no it’s awkward since we work together

And if he’s into you that’s probably his same thought process lol. Again you don’t have to be too direct, I’d just flirt a bit and see if he responds. If he seems into it, then there you go 🤷🏽‍♂️

I mean you could steal the girl who was flirting with me‘s moves and just ask about his prior dating history and what he looks for in a girl he’s interested in

Vice versa but I know it’s hard on guys. I think I’m ugly cause I don’t get asked out so I assume everyone isn’t attracted to me

Alright, well I’ve always had pretty low self confidence, I even started going to the gym hard recently because of it. It honestly took my friends and multiple different girls telling me I was attractive before I could even start to believe I might be attractive to some people. So when I say I’m sure you’re probably fine, I genuinely mean it lol.

I’m glad you saw that beauty! I’ve been going to the gym but I dunno. People don’t approach me and those who do are wayyyy older so I feel like it doesn’t count. I am insecure about weight and since I’m also POC I assume that people wouldn’t want me either. And I don’t look like female celebrities either

Ii mean older guys are usually more used to the direct approach so I wouldn’t take it as a bad sign. And I’ve always seen comparing yourself to celebrities as more of a goal than an actual comparison. I wouldn’t worry abt it
