I wouldn’t want anyone to consistently be getting her things like flowers. If it’s a coffee or something consumable every once in a while then it’s fine. It’s more about the intention. I made it part of my weekly budget to get my girlfriend flowers because it’s like 10 bucks at the supermarket and I’d rather go without the fanciest yogurt or eggs and see her eyes light up than spend that 10 dollars on things that are marginal to me

If it’s a guy and a semi-consistent thing yea, even if a male coworker is responsible for driving her home or something like that.

It’s a fear you’ll have to face. Men being able to provide things for women gives the man a sense of purpose. They don’t have to be big ticket items, but perhaps let your male counterparts know you would rather have gifts that are built not bought.
