Pursue the guy you want. Someone smart and focused on his career. Weed out the bad ones by not putting out. That means no nudes, no heavy make outs, no sex adjacent things. Make it clear that you want to get to know each others before sex

Guys who just want a hu will keep making the conversation sexual or insist on you coming to their room or going to your room to talk. A genuine guy will ask you to meet up publicly more than he does in private (grab lunch, study, go for a walk, etc.) And definitely pursue a guy. Guy’s today are much more shy. Many of us, ESPECIALLY the good ones are scared because social media has made rejection seem far uglier than it usually is. A good guy will recognize courage and confidence.
