Social media and small subsets of women (the smallest crowd is always the loudest) have made it seem like expressing any kind of interest in anything will give women the “ick”

This group needs a second, specific downvote button for “🙄oh cmon, you already know the answer to this, don’t even play about it”

i think its an ego protection mechanism. if they get rejected, they never cared that much to begin with so they dont take as hard of a hit to the ego

Like 12 or so. I am a very chalant person, just giving reasons to why I have been in nonchalant stages in my life

do you think the rejection may have been for reasons other than you being chalant?

This isn’t what I said so idk how to respond sorry

i feel like nonchalant has worse outcomes bc it’s so much easier to feel annoyed or stop caring when a guy acts like that

It’s a sufficient but not a necessary condition. Chalance isn’t the only reason for rejection (of course) but it will pretty much always get you rejected

Nonchalant sets the expectations low, they can always come up if we want, but chalant can’t go down from where we start

LOLLL but this mindset truly confuses me bc how do u think that low effort = more rewards?? i feel like i would want a man that cares about me and is interested 😭😭

They like them in the abstract. They like the idea of them. But when they have one, they lose interest in it very quickly

??

the reason for them losing interest is not because of the man being chalant
