Yeah it’s just so hard these days to determine who makes what move when. He was pretty assertive asking me out and making plans, which I really liked. I don’t wanna come off too strong but it’s been a long time since I’ve had a good first date

Sending the first text after a date is not coming on too strong smh. It also may be possible that he was initially interested but saw things he didn’t like, it’s a two way street for this little game
