as a women, respectfully your question was kinda stupid. being nonchalant isn't like a personality trait. plus you aren't owed a girlfriend

Also yes it is a personality trait. I canโ€™t help that I donโ€™t care about a lot of things or am calm most of the time

it's an adjective you can use to describe your personality but not a personality trait. you can be easygoing, laidback, low effort, etc. i know you never said you were owed a girlfriend but u don't care abt a lot things. why would someone else care abt getting to know u?

like your question to me is like someone who can't drive asking how can they get a car. having a car would be useless if they don't know how to use it. just like having a girlfriend would be useless if you're not gonna show effort or care.

definitions and synonyms of nonchalant include: - "indifferent" - "unconcerned" - "behaving as if detached" - "careless" it's a stupid question because you're basically asking "how can i get a girlfriend while behaving the exact opposite of romantic and caring". like you want to behave in a way that's antithetical to romance and relationships. stop being nonchalant, or stop trying to get a gf to suffer dating you

My idea of nonchalant is just being calm and quiet and not too outgoing or emotional. Not caring about a lot of the things normal people do. You seem to think I mean I canโ€™t care about someone in a hypothetical relationship, in which case you misunderstand me

That's not what you asked though? If that was the case you should've asked "How can I get a girlfriend if i'm not outgoing and quiet" by saying nonchalant everyone else is gonna assume you mean indifferent and detached in a relationship. Which is why i compared it to trying to get a car you wouldn't know how to drive.

also relationships r inherently emotional. romance foundation is love which is an emotion, and if you don't feel emotions that deeply then you are gonna struggle to understand when u love someone.
