Your parents sound kinda insufferable tbh. Talking over your differences is like a primary part of having a relationship? Don’t settle for someone who’s not compatible. if this was unprompted, that’s also super weird, finding a husband shouldn’t be their primary dream for you

That just sounds like someone who likes to debate things out to see what makes sense then. I’m the same ngl. Respectful discussion over differences is essential, if someone puts you down for having an opinion that’s not normal
