Don’t date a man like this Op. Those men want your body, a claim to you, and not your heart. The ones that want your heart will wait until after marriage and they would want for you to do the same for them.

I’m scared to make any moves on women so this would not be an issue for me

Getting MAD is clearly inappropriate and someone to avoid like the plague. But it does make sense to back off and invest your energy elsewhere when you’re rejected. In general, men are looking for their person. They believe that higher body count means you’re less likely to be faithful (not sure if I buy that & it’s not a universally held belief), but also that if you’re really into him, you’ll WANT to sleep with him fairly soon (which is true). And if you’re not, there’s 4 billion women in the

They want someone who will crack for them but not for anyone else, because that makes them feel special / worthy / validated

I mean, it’s like how a lot of women are convinced that they’re going to bag a 7’ millionaire. There’s a lot of delusion on both sides of the aisle. I blame social media lol

I agree, my ex liked that I was virgin because he loved the idea that he was only person had sex with me and once that feeling wore off he changed with how he treated me

It’s frustrating, but does make sense. He wants to marry the girl who’s a whore for HIM, and not for everyone else. He wants to be special to his woman, not just the next guy on her list. Then again, if you’re NOT wifey material, he may still want to sleep with you, but just won’t care as much (on either end)

Trust me I do. I just don’t understand why it’s a thing. Like it’s something me+ some have my friends have noticed

You don’t know that; they could be lying about their high body counts. They’re men, men lie upward, not downward. Also, it’s not hypocritical because, again, they’re men and there are good reasons for that double-standard. Men have to put effort into getting laid, and it’s expected of them (halo/wedding-ring effect plus women are repelled by the stench of a dry-streak). Plus it means less for men bc they don’t normally reserve it for the women they like best/are most attracted to.

So… be sluttier..? How’s that one our fault? It’s objectively true that men are less picky, therefore, you can’t assume he’s hung up on every woman he’s slept with. For all the reasons I just listed, we kind of have to be less picky. Yall make the rules, we just follow them
