Guys, if we as people are constantly losing atoms and gaining atoms. eventually we will be the ship of theseus, so does that mean that i am not me? if looked at over the past 20 years? eventually i’ll have no atoms that originally belonged to me.

Fun fact your skeleton needs to breathe, let it out. Peel back your skin and let it out

Your brain and heart cells mostly do not die and are not replaced unless you have a major injury. Some support cells in the brain ca die but the cells that actually do the connecting and signaling last for a whole life.

Are you your body, or your soul? Your flesh, or your spirit?

All of the atoms that were ever part of you are yours, we are infinite combinations of everything that ever was. By this logic, eventually you will be surrounded by atoms that belong to you because those you lose are incorporated into others. You are everything

Clarification because my wording was weird, the cells die if you have a disease or are injured, they usually do not grow back.
