So it’s been made obvious to me that a lot of men don’t know how the female body works. If you have any questions about that ask here!

I can also help explain things a bit, I’m in med school and we just wrapped up clinical medicine for the female reproductive system

For example, during periods women are only 1-2 cm dilated and during pregnancy we need to be 10!

I had to do a full OB/gyn exam (in med school) seeing the cervix on a real person is crazy. Way different than the textbooks

Oh! So during labor a woman must be 10 cm dilated in order to start pushing. That means her opening is 10 cm in order to be able to push out the babies head

It would be so nice if we did, no period pain that way. Unfortunately we don’t. But it turns out you can see eggs if outside of the female body

True there’s no period pain, but I had this discussion w a friend of mine. If we’re basing it off of chickens, they would actually be proportional to how large a chicken egg is compared to the chicken’s body, so you’d essentially be giving birth every month. The human body was not designed to do that every month

Yeah I know :( that’s unfortunately the trade off. The reason babies as so- let’s say under developed when they are born is because any longer and their heads would be too big to fit in the birth canal.

Breasts change because of a couple different reasons but mostly it’s the hormones. For example during periods it can feel more tender or sore. During ovulation (before the uterine lining is shed) they might feel fuller or perkier. But it always comes down to individual differences

Oh I’ve gotta know! There’s science that says AFABS have more color receptors and that’s why they can tell shades apart. Have you notice this changing?
