Why is it an insult to ask a guy “how is he still single”? I asked that and was told I was being rude and judgmental….what??

1. If he knew then he wouldn’t be single. It’s like the first thing he would work on. The only time this wouldn’t be a stupid question is if the answer is “Because I want to be.”

It’s bit… at least I wouldn’t take it as such. I would take it as: “ how can a guy as x, y, z not have been snatched by any other girl?”

2. If you are single and not showing interest in him then this is absolutely insulting. YOU know why YOU won’t date him, so why are trying to get HIM to say it? Is it some kind of self-deprecation kink? What’s wrong with you?

3. You’d be surprised how often this question is asked. In your mind it sounds like a compliment as if asking is the same as saying “You are so amazing it is absurd to me that you are single.” But he hears “What’s wrong with you?”

No fr I had a girl ask me what’s wrong with me why am I still single like idk??? She said I was too good for her and didn’t want to talk to me anymore, just left me baffled.
