i feel like i am 100% overthinking this but is asking to get drinks for a first date a turn off? i feel like an alchy always suggesting to guys to go to this bar near my campus

Do you like it because it’s more chill and casual ? If so maybe there’s other activities you can do that aren’t alchy adjacent if you are really worried about it

unfortunately i work mornings so it’s very rare i could go out on an earlier date :/ if you have ideas for stuff to suggest after like 7pm though that could be helpful!

I wasn’t saying to do another thing just that those are low stakes adventures u can get into. If im with someone who’s against bars I’d probably suggest a museum but specifically after 7 ur options get real slim
