Your mom has a point, if it’s a genuinely good dude you shouldn’t tell him off. HOWEVER, it is kinda dumb to just wait around, why not just talk to him about it directly?

You mean another person wants to make sure your adequate to be a life partner before starting the course to be a life partner. Be patient if you’re not talking to a jackass it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Or anything to worry about just wait. If he is a jackass then you shouldn’t have been talking to him in the first place
