I'm meeting my bf's parents for the first time for Christmas and my bf said they can be kind of strict/uptight. Any tips?

Biggest thing is don’t be overly attached or over your BF. Try to keep a respectful distance and avoid PDA. Also be very formal and respectful. Introduce yourself, “nice to meet you Mr and Mrs doe”. Bring a small gift for each person. Like a mug of Christmas ornament. May be a wine bottle.

I would even go as far as to say: treat it like a job interview. Don’t do anything you wouldn’t do at a job interview. At least while they get to know you and ease up.

Ohh since I thought if something else! Since it’ll be Christmas, participate in all their activities or traditions! It’s awful to have a guess not partake in the holiday celebrations.
